AI for your daily work
Emails, reports, brainstorming, meeting notes, presentations, and research workflows.
Where AI saves the most time
AI shines on work that is language-heavy and repetitive: first drafts, summaries, restructuring, and brainstorming. It is weaker on work requiring live data, confidential strategy, or relationship nuance you have not explained.
Start with tasks where a 70% draft still saves you twenty minutes.
Email and messaging
Always read before send. AI does not know your office politics or what you promised on a call last Tuesday.
- Turn bullet notes into polished emails
- Adjust tone: firmer, warmer, more concise
- Draft replies to long threads — then verify names, dates, and commitments
- Translate or simplify language for different audiences
Meetings and notes
- Paste rough notes → get structured summary with decisions and owners
- Generate follow-up emails from action items
- Prepare question lists before important calls
- Turn a recording transcript (from an approved tool) into minutes
Reports and documents
- Outline before you write: sections, headings, key points
- Expand outline into prose, then cut ruthlessly
- Rewrite dense paragraphs for clarity
- Create executive summaries from longer documents you paste in
Brainstorming and planning
Use AI to generate options, not final decisions. “Give me 10 campaign angles.” “What risks am I not considering?” “What would a skeptical customer ask?”
Combine AI output with your domain knowledge. You know your team, budget, and constraints better than any model.
Presentations and research
- Slide outlines and speaker notes from a topic brief
- Explain unfamiliar terms when researching a new industry
- Compare approaches in a table (pros/cons) — then verify facts independently
- Draft FAQ documents for clients or internal teams
A simple weekly workflow
Monday: outline the week’s writing tasks with AI. Mid-week: use it for drafts and summaries. Friday: use it to recap what shipped and what blocked. Keep one document of prompts that worked for your role — your personal playbook.
